I think it has been discontinued. It is not listed on the manufactures site http://www.globalhobby.com/public/mo...s/acarf201.asp Hobby People used to sell them so they might have some left in stores?

At least from Europe these guys still have it on their online catalogue, but is out of stock.

You can always contact them and ask for an estimated arrival date as I did in March and finally got one.

HI Guys.
I got myself 1 of these and I'm going to have some fun with it.
I'm turning it into a Bush Cub.
6" wheels, Tow point for Tug duties and up front a NGH-17 Petrol.
Yes it did go in. I had to turn the muffler around.
Check it out.

Has anyone noticed that the rudder has no effect when flaring in just before touchdown at pretty low speeds? Or is it just my lack of experience?
Has anyone tried trimming off a bit of the elevator halves in order to gain some extra rudder travel? Or would this not make any difference?

With a standard servo the rudder on mine has quite a long throw. I can't imagine that having more would be effective, but rather just stall the rudder and make things worse. The model does.need good rudder authority to fly well. I had a problem with my set up where the ground handling rudder control to keep the plane tracking straight was the opposite of what was needed when the tail lifted off. This obviously led to some interesting take offs. Once everything was aligned properly things got much better.

I'm on my third one, actualey it took 2 1/2 models to make this one. I'm using a Magnum .91 four stroke for power which is more power then is needed.I have a little over 200 hours in a PA-18-150 and it mimics the full scale in every way.I have no problems with rudder control It works right down to touch down when using cross controls during cross wind landings. Only problems I had was with the first one was hard to balance. It took 3 oz. in the cowl the other two took no added weight at all.the faps are really fun,I programed trim with each flap setting . I'm using a Airtronics RDS 8000 which has three flap setting up,half, and full down.
