If you want to increase the noise you make, try messing with your motor mount and/or firewall. They're most likely designed to vibrate as little as possible to reduce noise. Making them vibrate more will act like the soundboard in a piano, which is also why a flat foamie is louder than, say, a 3-dimensional plane made of dense, hard foam.
