you can vitrually use any motor but its finding the right size for the car so you dont over heat.
Generally for 1/8 you want a motor about 36-40 mm wide and 60 to 70 mm long.
and generally in the 2000 kv range.
Like look for specs like 36-60-2000 or 8xl 45 1800
