There shouldn't any real "maintenace" be necessary, unless you feel bored and want to kill time, till you can fly, finally. Check the spark plug for the proper appearance. Should be light brown in color. Take the muffler off and peek into the exhaust port. Hopefully you'll see a clean cylinder wall with no scratch marks. If you can fire up the engine once and check how it runs. Needless to say, you want to do this outside and not in your garage. After that you should empty the carb from any fuel residue. Don't leave any gas containing alcohol inside the carb for too long. Other than that there is really nothing you need to do. Good luck!
