On grass, there is no real need for a steerable skid; it will slide pretty good and a blip of throttle and some down elevator and you can turn easy and the real planes had to do it anyway. If you are on pavement and have to taxi you can imbed a small wheel. I find it easer to use the skid as normal and take off into the wind.
