Can you shave a little off the side of F2, and then use a small piece of triangle shaped balsa to reinforce it on both sides? One side may even be enough. Either that or some fiberglass reinforcing tape. That is my two cents worth. I am not an engineer, but I did sleep at Holiday Inn last night.
