Honstly, your best bet to to see what your local hobby shop has parts for, and buy that. Generaly your hobby shop is about as cheap as buying it online if its a decent hobby shop, and lots of shops will give you a better deal if you let them know you can get it cheaper online... dont expect them to match it exactly, but if you are like me, you dont mind paying a little extra (no more than $20) to get it NOW and also support your lhs)

All of the shops near me stock traxxas parts, but only 1 that i have found stocks duratrax parts... Maybe look into a rustler if they dont have druatrax parts... It will be faster than the evader...

another truck worth looking at, is the traxxas slash... great truck and fun, especialy if you are racing with other slash's...
