I do remember them being available at the same time, as you have stated.

I did not know that the Hawk was schneurle ported. Thanks for that info. I love keeping up with the old Fox "Motors" (as he used to call them). IIRC, the early date of the appearance of the Hawk series would make Fox one of the first manufacturers to offer a regular production engine with the schneurle ported format. True?
