Default My Nitro Rustler tear down and rebuild(pics)

Alright, first off, ill clarify that i didnt do anything performance wise to the truck, just wanted to clean it. I just got the truck from a forum member, and she was pretty dirty/sandy so i wanted to clean it up[8D] It has a megatech .16 engine with the stock pipe. It also came with a duratrax velocity .17 engine that i may try soon just to see if it runs. The megatech was having tuning issues(which i knew before i got the truck), and seemed to run good up top, but would not idle right, and sometimes die after a hard run. I ran about 8 tanks through it today before doing any of this, just because i couldnt wait to drive it The last time i went to start it, I hit the throttle and the carb body raised out of the block[X(] So now i know i had to have a big air leak, unless it just happened all of a sudden. So anyways, I decided it was sooo dirty that i just needed to tear it down and clean it anyways and fix the problem, and make sure everything else was in good working order. The transmission is pretty new, but i think the truck itself is one of the first since it has dish wheels, and a brown chassis. So here are the before pictures:
