Thanks Jim, w8ye sent me on the right track. I'm going to do a few mods to it, instead of one aileron servo I'm going with two, after reading seems several ppl have standard servos, so I'll do same. This plane came at a very good deal covering in excellent shape plane doesn't look to have been flown much at all. It has the standard landing gear and is in good shape, so looks like I got me a good one. I hope she flys as good as she looks.
The modifications are a good idea. I built mine with separate aileron servos attached to a plate so the only thing that is obvious is the servo arm protruding from a slot. Also, since my engine is heavy, I relocated the firewall about 1 1/2 inches back to help balance, and I beefed up the landing gear to better handle the extra weight. I also built the front deck as a removeable hatch to give access to the fuel tank, plumbing and kill switch wiring. It all works!
