RE: FSOne no instructor voice
I've got another idea. This will just confirm that the software is actually set correctly. Close FSOne.
Open a windows explorer window and navigate to the C drive and then to the Programs folder and then to FSOne folder. Inside FSOne folder is an Options folder. There are two text files to open and inspect. the first is the default_options.txt file and the other is the options.txt folder. The default folder is as it sounds the default settings for FSOne out of the box, the other is overrides that you set in the program. As in my attached image, scroll down both of these files and look for the Sounds section, then look at the Voicevolume and see if there is a 0 (instructor voice off) or 1 (voice instructor on).
They should both be set to 1 or on. If they are not set to 1, close both files and make copies of them (just in case FSOne fails to run afterwords) and change the original files so the extension is ._xt instead of .txt. Then rename the copied files just like the originals, open them up and change accordingly.
Oh and then close these files and then run FSOne.
