I charge my li-po's while watching TV at night. That way I can keep an eye on them.
I place them on a ceramic bowl in case they overheat while charging and start smoking this has never happened.
Have been using them for over 3 years, charging them at 1C without any incident.
I currently have 12 packs and I use two li-po chargers four of the batteries are 4S, so had to buy a new charger for them.
I fly almost every day and use most of the batteries each time.
