Sounds like it puts out more power than my ccrc50. I get 6900 rpm on zinger 22x8 in 17.5# bird it will pull vertical 180 to invert on take off. The first ignition module failed after 10 min of running. I think it was one of the problem ones. I now run the 2nd module on 2400 nimh 4.8 packs and after about 30 min of running the bat's still show 1700 ma remaining. So a full hr of flying on one charge is possible. The nimh do not pose any issues with high current draw on this motor.
I have about 2 hrs run time on mine now. The 20x10 prop turned about 7800 rpm and given Jody's input I put the larger prop to bring the rpm down.
Yes, you are talking about the ( old/current ) CRRC Pro GF50I, right?
I don't want people to get these numbers confused with the new
CRRC GP50R that this reveiw is about.
Yes that's why I posted the pics of the Red CCRC 50 with side intake vs the one you are testing that does not have the red and has the rear intake.
