Great Thread

I have an older Goldberg Extra, very similar in size. It has an OS 1.08 in the nose with a Pitts Muffler and required some lead in the tail just like these. The power is way too much and it will go verticle to almost out of sight, well maybe out of sight even but I have not tried it. Currently my plan is to change out the 1.08 to a Saito 100 and lighten it up a bit.

I'm seriously thinking of buying the Phoenix and putting it on the shelf for the day my thumbs go dumb with the Goldberg. Has anyone here also had a Goldberg and can give a comparison between the two?
