It is NOT a rock crawler...Too little ground clearance for the long wide stance....As a boondocks basher, nearly perfect. I slid sideways into a crevasse and got stuck in standard 4WD. By putting it in low and locking up the diffs I was able to worm my way out. The bigger tires naturally roll in and out of cracks
For competition crawling it also has way too much slop in the transmission. It will roll back and forth a few inches with those big wheels.
Also my two steering servos were not matched out of the box (both servos were fighting each other) so I had to fix that.
Maximum articulation with all 4 wheels on the ground I am getting about 8".
I'll take some outdoor vids of this thing in the next week or whenever it stops raining.
