Just another suggestion....rather than using carcinogenic ceramic blanket, fiberglass does the same job. Admittedly you don't want to breathe that in either but my understanding is that it is quite a bit safer. I don't bother with either. The best insulation for a fuselage skin is an air gap created by a sheet of thin aluminium on some wooden standoffs. More effective than all of the above, especially if you have airflow through the fuse.
