Default RE: nitro tank?????

is that a electric start in the 1st pic
Yes all three of these models have electric starters. They use an INA roller clutch bearing ( either a INA-1012 or 1022 - depending on the components used) for the key, driven ( engine mounted) component.

how are you cooling that motor looks like something around the head?
Yes cooling is a major factor, 4 cycles being more difficult in my opinion. These three models are all powered by Webra 6,5 ( .40cid) Blackhead
engines. This version has a crankshaft with a special extra long crank pin which is used to drive a rear mounted rotor on which is monted a
radial fan. The shroud you see is the fan housing used to duct the cooling airflow around the head. All in all a pretty efficient and compact unit.

P.S. Here is a link( part 2) to an old segment of the Screen Savers TV show where I and a fellow modeler showed off our stuff.
The last portion of the clip features one of my Panther A models running around the studio floor. A fun day....I think it was around 2/2002 http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...21233291393814
