Yes that is true.

But there are a lot of knock-offs coming from chinese brands.
Most of them are very equal in quality to the expensive ones.
If you read/see good reviews than why not?

I´m actually thinking in buying one of these, or just go to hobbycity and buy one gyro with good reviews.
Futaba, spartan or logicteh are too expensive for me.

If it wasn´t for all of these knock-offs I wouldn´t have a brushless system in all of my cars, a lot of lipo battery´s or cheap servos.
