I'm sure it works, but it's less convenient than an infrared one.
yeah, it's pretty much a "one-trick-pony".
An IR guage is what you want if you have more than one nitro vehicle
Unless you have enough free cash to buy one for each vehicle.

Oh, and I understand that positioning of the probe is pretty critcal to getting an accurate temp
