Radian glider. its foam, its slow, its powered, and it is very predicatable. It is a pretty nice powerd glider but it would lend itself quite well to training.
Still I would recomend a traditional trainer, gas or electric, and an instructor. But if going it alone is your only option then a foam /repairable electric glider is a good option. Reports on this glider have been quite positive so far.
