I think a little common sense is in order here. I have a Taurus 3.2 ordered for mine. I was going to use a ZDZ 40 until I talked myself into a Taurus. I am thourghly convinced tha ZDZ 40 is a great engine for this plane--I was going to get the Taurus 40 (2.4) but figured for a few bucks more go with a size bigger for future considerations--(I tend not to fly any one thing too long). I have owned US engines and the Quarta 42 --pretty much the same engine--and I don't know if it is the right match for this plane. Sorta like owning a Corvette with a 4 cyl engine--just don't make too much sense to me. A high performance plane deserves a high performance engine. I also think you can overpower a plane also. I have ripped out more than my share of ailerons and elevators. I think the 3.2 With a larger slower turning prop is about all I want to try. Just my opinion----
