Just a little something about the glow fuel mentioned. About 1961 I got my first Fox, McCoy and Veco engines for my U-Controls and Free Flights. I could never get these engines to run?? No one else was having problems except me? Then one of the older fellows, I was 12 so he was probably 15, came over to lend me a hand and took one look at my fuel and discovered my problem. I was trying to use my Thumbledrome 1/2 A glow fuel without any luck at all. He switched me over to his 5% nitro fuel and my engines fired right up and started to run just fine. That's the day I discovered what glow fuel was made from and that it came in different mixes for different engines. Last week I found one of my McCoy and Veco engines, brought back a lot of memorys, all good ones too.
