I don't have any experience with the 2100T. I am running a 6100G on my T-Rex 600 and am very happy with the way it performs.

There are some setup videos for the 2100t over on Helifreak. Create an account and download and watch the videos in the link below. They are using a DX7 in the videos so it should be very similar to your DX6i.
