You don't have it going through that horizontal stabilizer "guide" do you? If so, cut that off! It even shows that in the manual...
Otherwise, it should indeed go through the two plastic boom guides and should not bend/bind at all.

Make sure you are in the servo arm hole closed to the output gear.
Also, you might have to adjust the length of the rod it self or just move the entire servo.
Make sure you set up in rate mode on the gyro first.

What gyro are you using? It sounds like you need to adjust your servo travel. However, the method of doing this depends on the gyro you are using. On a 401 you adjust the travel via the limit pot on the gyro itself and the travel adjustment on your radio controls your piro speed. Other gyros may need to be adjusted differently. Let us know your complete setup and you will likely get some better answers.

my setup
-logictech 2100t gyro
-hs-81 rudd
-x3hs-65
-430l
-align 35 amp esc
-dx6i
my 2100t is kinda funny cuz when i put it to set servo limit it will only let me move as far as a few millimeters and then it makes me lock in only afew millimeters
my travel adj on my tx is 125percent all the way over my dule rates is 50 and 70 but because on my gyro it will only let me move a little because it is locked in and i cant get it to lock out
it is really confusing and frustrating[sm=spinnyeyes.gif][>:]

Payne-
I don't have any experience with the 2100T. I am running a 6100G on my T-Rex 600 and am very happy with the way it performs.
There are some setup videos for the 2100t over on Helifreak. Create an account and download and watch the videos in the link below. They are using a DX7 in the videos so it should be very similar to your DX6i.

You can also check out the videos on the Hitech HG-5000 gyro. It is the exact same gyro with a different brand name on it.

I hope this helps you out.

Payne,
In head hold mode, the gyro's don't act like you think they should on the ground....you'll get full servo deflection before your stick moves all the way.... it will stick to one side, etc. Put it in rate mode and you'll get the "normal" servo movement.
Also are you using the round servo horn?

no i am using the 2 sided one
no i am using the 2 sided one
I recommend the round one...it's what most use. The problem with ones that actually have arms is you get too much throw....you don't want or need that for the rudder.
Use the round horn and use the center of the 3 holes.....
