Default RE: 1/16th hydoplane

A bit of an update on the build......Because my boat is now under weight[plan says at this stage 4/5 oz]Mine at this stage is only 3 oz , decided to put in some floatation.Only added 5 gms.Not really fussed on losing it to the bottom of the lake.Deck all on and now ready to do the finishing shaping.
Being my first water prop driven boat looking for a little help in the wire drive system. Any one with some nice pics to help a guy out. will build it myself.
The plan shows a tube with the wire in going from motor to prop. This tube seems to have a bend , now do I have to put that in ?
what about the dog , to hold the prop, where do we get them and how is that held on?
Dum questions for you gurus but have to start somewhere. Up to you if you want to answer.
We have a lake two streets from home ,cant fly my float planes there because of the houses but a boat works just fine.cheers.
