Hey Guys,

I'm working on my Tamiya Tiger 1 and trying to use a Spektrum DX6i and having some issues trying to get it to work properly... So if someone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it.

The problem is after I'm done with the programming per the Tamiya instructions;

The Left stick controls the "driver function" fwd/reverse AND left/right. It doesn't work too well in this configuration, its very difficult to get it to spin right or left. It has to be moving forward. Same with Reverse.

The Right stick controls all the turret movement from left/right rotation to up and down of the main gun.

Lastly, I can't get the main gun to fire or machine gun to fire.

I've tried reprogramming the DM unit but no matter what I do it still winds up the same configuration as described above. I'm also having a problem understanding the DM unit programming. You're supposed to move the stick and watch for a "green, red, orange" flashing of the lights, but it happens so rapidly, I can't tell what order its flashing in. I think your supposed to move the stick then watch for a flashing light pattern then move on to the next stick movement, and watch for the order of flashes... Again, I can't tell at what point its starting this cycle...

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I did check the DAK site. But it talks about the DX6 deals with other things and not basic functionality...
