First of all, the DX6i works with the Tamiya electronics. Dozens of people have it running so we know it works, so don’t give up on a good radio.

The reason you can’t get the controls on the “stick” where you want them is that you have the channel leads from the DMD plugged into the wrong channel in the receiver. Simply switch the throttle and elevator channels on the receiver. Once you have the controls on the correct stick assignments go through the Tamiya setup to get the DMD programmed then rebind the receiver to “save” the failsafe settings. Then program the switches for main and machine gun functions.
