Default Another HL Jagdpanther

I took receipt of my Jagdpanther today. Heng Long keeps improving. I would say they are almost ready for retail hobby shops. I opened this tank up, and was glad to see such a clean presentation of electronics. Wire twisted into tight cables, zip straps where needed, a very well done package. I charged up the battery and gave it a test drive. Smooth, quiet, but FAST . Having said that though Everything works, with no problems. They seem to be listening to what we want. All the tools came package seperately, leaving the tank as a nice clean canvas ready for painting right out of the box. No disassembly required.

I have a couple of questions for the board

1. Do the old metal Panther tracks fit on this tank????

2. How about the metal road wheels that have been available for years?

My plan is to open up a couple of hatches, topside mount the charging jack and on-off switch.
Rework the recoil system
Install Asiatam low profile gear boxes That should slow this down to a more acceptable speed.
I have an old El-Mod Booster and TLS that I may install in this, so I can add the soundblaster. I haven't done one of these yet, and there is a lot of room in this tank.

All in all a very good effort and an affordable path to get your feet wet in this hobby, with lots of upgrade potential if you decide you want to.
