WEIGHT DOES AFFECT THIS HELI

SO GO BUY ALUMINUM PARTS AND LIVE HAPPY

Thanks.... I've been flying my CX2 for over a year and a half with all the CNC and love it to death ! Never had any probs and the precision is awesome. Weight definately affects this heli, in which is exactly why for any of my heli's when you add weight with one part deduct weight from another source on the heli that isn't as important. A give and take process so to speak.... I still have my stock skids on this thing, and I'am guessing since I just shortened them and heated them up possibly could have made them stronger. The frame has been shaved and is still the stock one... The boomtown hobbies mount for the boom, cut in half lost a few g's there, shortened the boom a bit... Vented 4 in 1.. Etc. etc. If there was a place I could lose 0.01 grams that wasn't necessary, I lost it... The pics are a little old, but my CX2 stock sits at 227 grams from the factory... In the picture with all the bling attached chrome boom sleeve, extra few doodads I'am only 2 grams overweight from stock.

I've had it before with all the CNC at 220 grams before, but since most my flights are outside, it was to light with the 2-cell and just wasn't as stable until I added a few more things to the heli to add a few more g's on it. I usually only run my 3-cells in it, and it goes over to 20 grams overweight from stock. Which works out superb for the power to weight ratio then.

I still have my CX2 today, and fly it once in awhile but it has been a great flyer as is....

With the parts you offer like the extended shafts, the different blades and other stuff I'am wondering what those individual weights are by chance...

With the 3-cell :
