Default RE: buddy box + expo

It would help to know the transmitter being used.

Four the futaba 6ex 72 mhv version doesn't mix, but my 9C does. I trained with my 9C transmitting and using an old Futaba Conquest 4 chan as the trainer box. Every thing followed the 9C with the exception of the throttle. If the trim was full up on the trainer box, you could get full throttle, but not idle, If it was down, you could get idle, but not full throttle. Set in the center, it cut off both the top and idle.

My son's 6ex though just passed through the "raw stick movmente" per BAX. I went nuts trying to get it to use the expo and endpoints. With that one, you have to feed a programable TX into it.

So, the answer is Yes, No, Sorta, and The best, it depends.
