Very nice Mach 1 you have built. I agree what is said in the Youtube video, beautiful lines. In my opinion Mach 1 is one of the most beautiful pattern airplane to look at, it is so sleak. The inner wing cord was at the time Mach 1 was released amazing to look at. I used my Mach 1 from grass strips all the time and I had Goldberg rectractable landing gear that could take rather hard landings without problem. In my white/orange Mach 1, some posts up in this thread, I had first a Rossi 60 side exhaust, later I had a Rossi 61 with rear exhaust so pipe was going through inside of the canopy then. With that engine my Mach 1 was very fast and I also had needle adjustment control from my radio with one extra servo. With the pipe tuned in and needle adjusted in flight it had no limits like it could climb vertically for ever. The last modification I made to my Mach 1 before it was history was to sweep down the stabilizer in negative V-shape like Curare pattern ship had.
