Yeah, I have my DX7, which I have had 0.. that's zero.. problems with. And, if it wasn't for the documentation issues (which have been acknowledged by Horizon Support as valid, with intentions to provide updates) the DX6i is also a fine radio. I've not flown with it yet, but that will happen as soon as the weather improves (13 inches on my car at 6:00 am today, and it just started to snow again, looking for about 3 more inches this morning before it's all over.
Wphew.. I gave you an opinion, recommendation, AND a weather report, all in one breath! Wow, am I good.. ha.. oops.
I sent their support people an Email about the issues that I had with the binding plug. They kept coming back to using the bind port on the receiver, however, their picture pointed to the third wire on the switch, never really describing the "bind port" on the RX. They need to make some documentation improvements, that's for sure, but with the help from good people, especially here on RCU, I figured it out and was successful in binding the pair. I sent them a reply Email stating what shortcomings were in the manual and they acknowledged it and said they would do what they could.
Hey, at least they acknowledge the issues. Whether or not they actually do something about it is another thing.
Aaaaanyway... pan-cookies for breakfast (that's what a friend used to call pancakes) with real maple syrup and butter, with some thick cut smoked bacon. I eat well when I'm home.. ha..
I'm going to do what I can with the Ultrafly Furious. Can't do much until the rest of the components come in. I ordered a new motor/esc and some foam-safe CA. I thought I had some, but at last check, the bottle was solid as a rock.. hardened CA.. so I don't have any.
