Default RE: Best nitro entry level heli

In the 30 class of nitro, I would recommend the Hawk Pro...it has a relatively low price that does not reflect properly the quality and performance potential of the Kit with a good engine like the OS-37.

It can take you from initial training to well into 3D flight...and all at relatively low cost due to the low cost of feeding an OS 37 engine with fuel, the low cost of crash parts and the fact it has very low maintenance because the stock parts seem to last forever and perform very well, you will not have to be spending money on upgreades.

Also for consideration, is that, due to the low cost of getting it in the air (heli & motor), you will have that much more of your budget to spend on the radio, servos and gyro. These are far more important components of the total package that gets into the air and if purchased properly at the outset, will be with you for a long time.

If you want bigger like a 50 size. Take a serious look at their Raven 50 which is more like a smaller version of their 90 size Predator then a bigger version of their 30 as are most others.
