I would have to say the rage is better then the rc18t. Not only is it cheaper, but it doesn't need new drivetrain parts or any upgrades out of the box. It is a very durable car. I think the drivetrain holds up to bl power out of the box iirc.
I don't know why anyone would get the associated over the xtm. The xtm is well thought over and the manufacturer fixed all the bugs before they released it.
