Jet-A REEKS compared to K-1. I don't want my shop to stink so much when the INEVITABLE drops leak here and there. Your engine doesn't care what it used to eat one way or the other.
K-1 from the hardware stores is clean and well packaged but in my limited experience is 2x the pump price and unavailable in the summer months anyway. I did a Google search for K-1 or Kerosene +(my city) and found a dealer nearby.
I love my Jersey Modeler fueler, it's very high quality and makes the one I bought from BVM look like something my dog dropped in the yard. Too much trouble to build my own in my case. Whatever U use, consider putting the oil in FIRST and pumping/pouring the fuel in on top of that to facilitate a thorough mixing of the two.
