Are you sure that yours is damaged?

Have you tried connecting it to a different ESC, just to see if it will turn?

Also which plane do you have, just to clarify... as often we start talking about different planes on a single thread.

i have the exceed rc 70 mm F-18. when i put a volt tester on the wires i found voltage on the negative terminal. when i unplugged the red and yellow wires, i found voltage on the negative wire of the motor and none on the esc negative wire. with that i figure theres a short in the motor. to my knowledge there seems to be nothing wrong with the esc. also, do you happen to know any information on the type, size and manufacturer of the motor they used? thanks.
