When the weather is cold, I always have to open my throttle trim to get the engine started. As it warms up, you can back off the throttle trim.

Not so much trouble re-starting once the engine is hot, so the hair-drier trick can work.

Is the glitching only when you operate your roto-start? If so, dont' worry about it. Gltiching is sporadic, so the average your carb is open is still where you set it without glitching....er....more or less.
