I have seen problems like this with gas engine ignition systems. A fellow club member was getting much unwanted servo action when the engine was running. I convinced him to convert to a 2.4 ghz FASST system and the problem was eliminated. He was able to fly safely with confidence. In your situation I would be afraid of other interference during flight which could be fatal. Some ignition systems will interfere with FM, even PCM/FM. I hope this helps.
