The screws for the tri horns on the ailerons are about 3 times too long. They would go straight through the aileron. Does that make sense.
Yes, they should extend through the control surface and thread into the backing plate. If I remember right, the aileron horns include 2 long screws for the front holes that are near the thick aileron LE and one shorter one for the scre in a thinner spot.
Also, I am using servos out of another plane. The lead is not long enough and I also don't see a hole on the inside of the wing where the lead enters the fuselage. Do I just get extensions for the servo leads to make it to the fuselage and do I cut a hole?
Yes, you can just use extensions. Be sure to use heat shrink tubing, string, clips or some other method of securing them so the don't come loose inside the wing.
The exit hole for the wires should be on top of the wing near the root but it is likely covered. Feel the covering until you find the hole then cut the covering away with an X-Acto knife.
