Before pulling the tank try flushing out your needle valve. Hook your fuel pump up to the fuel intake on the carb. Remove the needle valve and close the throttle completely. Pump some fuel through which should shoot out of the needle valve hole. Reassemble and try starting the engine again. If you still have problems running check the tank as mentioned above.
