I've been happy with my Magnum two cycle and four cycle engines. I also have a couple of Super Tigre 2-strokes that have been terrific.

By most accounts, the JBA .39 and the SK .50 2-strokes are both bargains at $59.99

The Aviastar .46 2-strokes available at http://www.sigmfg.com for $49.99 have a good reputation as strong and reliable engines once you get any carburetor problems sorted out. Any Sig dealer should be able to order an Aviastar engine for you.
