Get an engine with power. This plane is heavy, get something more than a O.S. 46 La. I have the O.S. 46 LA and it flies but it has no power to do simple aerobatics. It will barly loop and roll.[&:]
Flyboy,

My taildragging Deb weighs in at 6.5 pounds, but I built it with a nearly flat bottom wing. It loops and rolls great, with a TT GP-42. It also gets airborne quickly. I'm not sure if it's your engine or the wing, but I have no issues with a bushinged 42 on a Deb. It's built to the plans, dihedral included, except for the tail dragging, the flat bottom wing and only one fin/rudder.

My 13 year old son, the better flyer in the family says this Deb is one sweet flying plane.

Jack

I do love my deb. Mine does get airborne in no time. I'm gonna use it to break in my mag 46 XLS and I might live it on it and put the OS in my stick.
