RE: Marutaka DC3
Hello; It's been years, but here goes; There's a lot of carving involved with this kit, the instructions don't mention dihedral, which is very important for a good flying DC3. I built mine without dihedral and it flies like a brick requiring constant attention. I bought two new Surpass 70'a for my DC#, but I ost one of them in the lake on a float plane, so I put a pair of new TT 46's in. Plenty of engine, lots of power, I wished I'd have gone with FP 40's, I like their sound and can be bought with a muted muffler which I like.
I have mine hanging from a hook in my living room.
