I can get hold of a Marutaka Dc3 unbuilt kit for a alright price.
Can anyone give me some advice on this kit?
The kit states that it takes to 40 ,s seems a bit small for over 2 m wingspan.
Any advice would be welcome.
Thanx

Hello; It's been years, but here goes; There's a lot of carving involved with this kit, the instructions don't mention dihedral, which is very important for a good flying DC3. I built mine without dihedral and it flies like a brick requiring constant attention. I bought two new Surpass 70'a for my DC#, but I ost one of them in the lake on a float plane, so I put a pair of new TT 46's in. Plenty of engine, lots of power, I wished I'd have gone with FP 40's, I like their sound and can be bought with a muted muffler which I like.
I have mine hanging from a hook in my living room.

I recently bought a part complete Marutaka DC3 from a fellow club member and he had lost the plans/instructions. Any idea where I can get them?
