Epoxy is great for those joints where you need some real strength and resilience (joining fins to stabilisers/fuselages, joining wing halves at the root etc.) There's definitely a place for CA glues too though - they're great for those jobs where a quick set-up time is useful, and of course essential for those 'out in the field' quick repairs
