If you're real proficient with the Superstar and can make it do anything you want, land it anywhere you want,etc. then you should be able to handle the Somethin Extra or the Escapade. I would be cautious with either plane. Start with low rates and get an intructor for the first flight. The Avistar is a great plane, I have two of them. I wouldn't really consider it that big a step from the Superstar, but it is faster and more aerobatic. It flies more like a sport plane than most trainers, and I will always keep at least one in my hangar.
