I'd say it was a great idea, but it apparently hasn't worked. Thank goodness for the ability to block the posts of the half dozen or so posters who drag the threads down and off topic. In the short time I've been following this forum, every active thread has degraded to personal attacks. I have a hard time understanding why people can't accept the fact that everyone has a right to their own opinion. There are nicer ways to say that 'I don't agree with you and here's why' or 'I think I understand where you're coming from but here's why I feel differently'. Don't make it personal.

One note, even though I block some posters, I do periodically unblock hoping that they're being less attacking. To date, they haven't.
