Actually it's the bearings that need the extra oil not the piston.
I am worried that the excess oil will cause ring sticking. I would run the engine at 40 to 1, but then the rod big end will fail. Bearings do not need the excess oil either.

Even at 10:1 oil mix thats 1/2 the oil it gets running on glow.
We used to go about 3 years before decarboning one and we got 7 years out of a rod. This was on our demo engine and it got flew a LOT
