Default RE: Control Surface Hardware

What kind of ARF is it? If it is from Great Planes, Hangar-9, Sig, World Models or another reputable manufacturer then go ahead and use it. It is designed for the job and will be just fine. Some of those manufacturers also use SAE sized hardware (I know GP generally does) so you could replace it with metal stuff if you really wanted.

If you have one of those el-cheapo planes with instructions that don't make sense then you'll likely want to ditch all the hardware in favor of some quality stuff.
