BalsaRite will work just fine. The difference between the formula for fabric covering vs. film covering is the viscosity. The fabric formula is very thick. I don't like the fabric formula and end up thinning it with acetone. So, I recommend the film formula. There are other exotic methods such as white glue or thinned epoxy, but the best way is either nitrate dope or BalsaRite.
